Wisconsin Drug Card, powered by United Networks of America, Tours Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin

Wisconsin Drug Card’s Abigail Dorow and Carole Unis joined local philanthropists, pharmacy staff and physicians in an awe-inspiring tour of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. They had the pleasure of meeting the Flight for Life team, who dedicate their time to patients in need of helicopter transportation.

While visiting the trauma center, intensive care unit, occupational medicine department and neuro center, each participant played a different role. In the picture below, you will find Carole Unis (Anesthesiologist for the day) and Abigail Dorow (Respiratory Therapist for the day) in one of the hospital’s trauma rooms. Every day children from all over visit Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin for many different reasons. It’s through the generous support of partners like Wisconsin Drug Card and United Networks of American that continue to provide them with the best care available. You too can play a key role by choosing Wisconsin Drug Card for your non-covered prescription medications. Each time the card is utilized in a pharmacy, a donation is made to your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
