Pennsylvania Drug Card Presents Donation to Penn State Children’s Hospital Hershey Campus

Pennsylvania Drug Card had the opportunity to tour Penn State Children’s Hospital Hershey Campus and present a donation in the amount of $7,690.20 along with several books for the Child Life Program. This facility began in 1963 with a “$50 million dollar phone call” from Milton S. Hershey. He offered the $50 million donation for Penn State to establish a medical school and teaching hospital in Hershey which saw the first patients in 1970. Since 2015, the United Networks of America partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised over $2.4 million dollars for local children’s hospitals. Of this, $7,690.20 has been raised for Penn State Children’s Hospital
