Louisiana Rx Card Presents Donation to CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital's CMN Program

Louisiana Drug Card, part of United Networks of America, is honored to partner with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN) and CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.   Each time a prescription is processed through the Louisiana Drug Card, CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital will receive a donation.  Louisiana Drug Card is a statewide prescription assistance program and all residents are eligible to have their prescriptions processed through this prescription savings program.

Louisiana Drug Card recently visited CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital for a check presentation with Kellie Flynn Freebeck, CMN Program Manager (middle), Vicki Boatner, Cabrini Foundation Business Manager (middle), Terry Booth, Foundation Administrative Assistant (far right) and Jamie Henson, Pharmacy Relations Representative for Louisiana Drug Card (far left).   Over $3,000 has been raised during 2016 and 2017 for the most immediate pediatric and neonatal needs at the local CMN Hospital.

Louisiana Drug Card has been working closely with CMN affiliated hospitals, clinics and pharmacies around Louisiana to distribute FREE discount prescription cards so that all Louisiana residents will have access to this free program.  Louisiana Drug Card was launched to help the uninsured and the under insured residents afford their prescription medications.  The program can also be used by people that have health insurance coverage without adequate prescription benefits.

Not only has Louisiana Drug Card helped people save on their prescription medication, but it also has helped hundreds of children in need of life saving interventions by donating to CMN Hospitals such as CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
